Your Questions, Answered

We are inside CrossFit Cultivar at 238 Montague Road West End. Just follow the signs inside and up the stairs!
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
Yes. Telehealth consults are available if you can’t make it in person!
Yes. If you have extras cover that includes chiropractic, your sessions are eligible. At this stage, claims need to be submitted directly to your health fund.
Yes. We accept GP referrals under the Team Care Arrangement Plan (Chronic Disease Management). These sessions are eligible for a Medicare rebate, however a gap payment will apply as we do not bulk bill.
No. Most injuries can be treated effectively without needing scans. We can refer you for scans when needed.
Not at all. Our expertise is in sports chiropractic, but our treatment techniques are designed for anyone who wants to move better and feel stronger in daily life.
Your first session is all about understanding you. We’ll discuss your injury, pain history, and goals, then complete a thorough assessment. From there, we’ll create a clear, personalised plan, to help you recover while staying as active as possible.
Yes! If hands on treatment is recommended for your injury it will be provided on the first appointment – if that’s what you’d like!
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us online or by phone. If you do have a referral from your GP, specialist, or coach, bring it along so we can work closely with them as part of your care team.
Bring comfortable clothes you can move in, and any relevant scans or reports.
Every person and injury is different. After your first session, we’ll outline how many appointments we expect you’ll need and review this as you progress. Our goal is to help you become independent in your recovery as quickly as possible.
In most cases, yes. At Crux, we are experts in keeping you moving wherever possible. We’ll help you modify your training or activity to avoid further injury while still working toward your goals.
We work with a wide range of spine, joint, and sports-related injuries — from back or neck pain to knee, hip, and shoulder issues, or concussion and overuse injuries. Whether it’s a recent injury or something ongoing, we’ll help you find a clear path forward.
If your pain isn’t improving, we’ll reassess your plan and may recommend further investigation such as scans or referral to a specialist. Our priority is to make sure you get the right care at the right time.
You can book online anytime using our simple booking system or contact us directly via phone or email. We’ll help you find a time that works best and get you started on the road to recovery.
